Have you ever…
…dreamed of flying an airplane?
…seen your house from 3000 feet?
Whether you want to become a pilot or want to give someone a special and exciting gift, consider nothing less than an Introductory Flight with Waterford Aero Club. Do you want to discover what it’s like to act as pilot in command of an aircraft? Maybe you just want to take photos of your house and show all your friends!
Don’t forget your camera!
Before your Flight Experience, your Instructor will thoroughly brief you on all aspects of safety while in the air and explain how the controls are used to fly the airplane. Flying high over the countryside in our aircraft, you will experience stunning views of the sky and land. If you live locally, you may also be able to fly over your house.
If you are bitten by the flying bug, you can discuss flight training with us for the Light Aircraft Pilot Licence or Private Pilot Licence. In this case, your Flight Experience will be your first loggable flight towards your licence.

Will I get to fly the aircraft?

What clothes should I wear?
Comfortable clothes are a must! Please wear flat shoes and if it’s a cold day, bring a warm coat. Sunglasses are advisable unless it is very cloudy.
