On Saturday last, 25th July, we lost a very unique pilot and personality here in Waterford. Whilst flying his beloved BD5, Howard Cox had his time with us cut short. Howard was a true Gentleman, a gifted aviation mechanic as well as pilot. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Howard was always very generous with his time to others, always happy to help and contribute and actively partook in air displays throughout Ireland. Howard was not only a member, but a very warm friend of Waterford Aero Club. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. We wish to pass on our sincere condolences to his Wife Liz and Son Peter. May he Rest in Peace. Blue skies, Howard
