Pablo started off his flying training in Dublin – Weston, and came down to Waterford Aero Club at the start of Autumn to finish off the training necessary to become a private pilot. Next…
Congratulations to our newest Private Pilot, Dean Walsh! Dean commenced his PPL training in February, did his 1st solo in March, PPL complete and licence in hand by 19th August. Next stop for Dean, CPL and Multi-engine piston flying towards his commercial licences.
We had two first solos at the Club this weekend! Congratulations to Dean Walsh after soloing our Tecnam, EI-WFD, this morning under fantastic blue skies under the supervision of Flight Instructor Brendan Geary.

Congratulations to Declan Mallon who flew his first solo flight in EI-WAT. He is pictured here with FI Brian Power. The weather during the last week has been stunning and Declan took to the blue skies on his own for the first time yesterday. Happy landings!
