When did you join Waterford Aero Club? 2007
Best flying memory: Every flight in the air for me is a memory. Although, I loved the flight to the Arann Islands.
Worst flying memory: Haven’t got there yet.
Tell us about your last flight? 1 hour flight with Paul Hutchinson, practicing the pattern.
What brought you to flying? Not sure, was too young to remember! Just love getting on a plane when I was going on holidays. Then going to Waterford airport just looking around at some of the small aircraft, wasn’t much activity going on, but I could stay there all day. Eventually I walked into the Club, best thing ever and started from there.
If you had all the money in the world, what aircraft would you choose to fly? Em, anything with wings really. I quite like the Embraer Phenom 100… But, I would prefer to be flying a PA28 or Vans RV.
What is your current job? Student
Other hobbies? GAA, cycling, cars, reading about planes.
What do you like most about the Aero Club? Lots of things. Talk to other pilots/members at the club, about their last flight. The instructors there are great! Members are so kind and friendly. I love going out there on a Sunday to get my social event!
If you could give a new pilot one piece of advice, what would it be? Start while young, join the club, get yourself some books and read! Still too young to log my hours, so I can’t say much!
